The Widgets panel shows an empty page, but elements are actually on it though just invisible. OEM toolbars on the taskbar no longer appear/work. HP Support Assistant does not recognize this Windows version and refuses to install any OEM drivers. I don't feel it's laggier than the Windows 10 experience. On the desktop, the animations actually work okay. The animations during the OOBE were very very slow (I think I've got below 5 fps). So this Windows 11 copy still labels itself as Windows 10.

Since now I have two Windows installations, I got to see the Windows Boot Manager/BCD entries. Intel Bluetooth driver not available (AC 7260). Virtually all drivers just installed fine with an available version from Windows 10. I ended up using the iso here: (huge thanks!) and fresh-installed on a spare drive, and it worked after the registry trick. Running the setup from the iso inside this Windows 10 install did not work either. Upgrading from Windows Update failed due to the lack of TPM and the age of the CPU -I tried both the registry trick and replacing the dll but neither worked (ended up having error 0xc0000005).

This machine was running the latest Windows 10 insider preview (dev). I've managed to install the build 22000 released today on an old HP laptop (updated to 22000.51).
